Overview

A Merchant is an adventurer who is great at both fighting and making money. Most classes only care about hitting things, but Merchants are all about smart business. They are pros at handling their gear and finding ways to turn a profit on every trip.

Growing up in the busy markets of Alberta, they learned early on that you don't always need big muscles to win but also need to be smart with your cash. Because of this, they can carry way more stuff than other people, talk shopkeepers into giving them better deals, and even set up their own little stands to sell items to other players.
In a fight, Merchants have a pretty wild style because they can actually use their gold to deal damage. They aren't the toughest warriors or the fastest movers, but they make up for it by being handy and having way more cash than everyone else.

After reaching Job Level 40-50, Merchants can advance into more specialized classes:


Job Changing

  1. Speak with the Merchant Guildsman (alberta_in 56/44)Copied to register and pay the membership fee of 500 Zeny.

  2. Pay a total of 1,000 Zeny to start the test.

    • You can pay 500 Zeny first and the remaining 500 Zeny later if needed.

    Once you pay, make sure to remember both the serial number and the delivery destination you receive.

  3. Go to the warehouse and speak with the Warehouse Supervisor (alberta_in 28/29)Copied

    Enter the correct serial number and destination, then receive the parcel.

  4. Deliver the parcel to the correct NPC to get your receipt.

  5. Return to Alberta and give the Receipt to the supervisor.
