Experience
Experience
Summary: Experience comes in two forms, Base and Job, both earned by killing monsters or completing quests. Comodo Party runs at 3x Base EXP / 3x Job EXP, a low-rate pace built for steady, long-term progression.
Server Rates
| Base EXP | Job EXP | Item Drop Rate |
|---|---|---|
| x3 | x3 | x3 |
| The EXP comes from monster kills, quests, or any other source, a single gain can only carry you up one level at most. | ||
| If the EXP you would receive is enough to exceed that cap, you will simply level up once, with your EXP bar landing just short of leveling up again. | ||
| In other words, no matter how large the gain is, it never skips you past a full extra level in one go. It just tops your bar off right at the edge of the next one. |
Party Sharing
Enable Even Share in your party settings to split EXP evenly among all party members regardless of level:
(EXP to be Shared ÷ Number of Party Members) + 1 EXP
Tap Bonus
EXP to be shared increases by +25% for each additional player who has dealt damage to (or been hit by) the monster — whether or not they're in your party.
- Capped at a maximum +580% total bonus.
Quest Experience
Most quests on Comodo Party award a flat amount of EXP when completed, separate from monster kills. However, repeatable quests have mostly been disabled on the server. The bulk of quest EXP here comes from one-time quests instead, so you won't be able to farm the same quest over and over for bonus levels.
Modifiers
Standard classic RO items/skills that boost EXP gained from killing monsters (confirm which are actually implemented on Comodo Party):
- Race-specific EXP cards (e.g., cards that boost EXP against Demi-Human, Demon, Angel, Dragon, Plant, Fish, Formless, Brute, Insect, or Undead monsters)
- Battle Manuals (Battle Manual / Thick Battle Manual / HE Battle Manual)
- Temporary EXP-rate events
Modifiers on turned-in quest/medal EXP typically only stack with Battle Manual-type bonuses, not monster-kill-specific ones.
