Items
Summary: Items in Ragnarok Online are objects your character can carry, use, wear, or trade, ranging from potions and food to weapons, armor, and cards.
Consumable Items
Items that are used once and disappear afterward. This includes:
- Healing Items, used to restore HP and/or SP
- ASPD Potions, which temporarily boost attack speed
- Taming Items, used to tame certain monsters into pets
- Scrolls, which grant a temporary buff or summon an effect when used
- Cooked food, which restores HP/SP and can grant temporary stat boosts
Equipment
Items worn by your character to change their stats, combat performance, or appearance. See the Equipment page for how equip slots, refining, and cards work.
Miscellaneous Items
Items that don't fit neatly into the two categories above, including:
- Catalyst items used in crafting or NPC exchanges
- Cards, which are inserted into slotted equipment for bonus effects
- Random item boxes that grant one of several possible items when opened
Item Basics
A few general rules apply across all item types:
- Every character has a Weight Limit based on their STR. Carrying too much slows your character down, and going over the limit entirely prevents you from moving.
- Most items can stack in your inventory, up to a set amount per slot, but equipment and certain unique items do not stack.
- Items can typically be stored in Kafra Storage to free up inventory space, though some item types may be storage or trade-restricted depending on how they were obtained.
