Party Duel

Party Duel

Summary: Party Duel works like a normal 1v1 duel, but between two entire parties instead of two players. The Party Leader challenges another party's leader to start one.

How It Works

A Party Leader invites another party to a duel using @partyduel <opponent party name> or @pd <opponent party name>. The invited party's leader then has two options:

  • @acceptduel or @ad, to accept the challenge.
  • @rejectduel or @rd, to decline it.

Both parties need to be within 14 cells of each other to send or accept the invitation.

Warning

Party Duel can't be started in certain locations, such as prt_in and geffen_in.

The invited party has 15 seconds to respond before the invitation expires. If accepted, a 10 second countdown runs before the duel begins.

Setting Duration
Accepting Duration 15 seconds
Countdown Duration 10 seconds
Duel Duration 600 seconds (10 minutes)
Duel Cooldown 15 seconds

After a duel ends, a party must wait 15 seconds before starting another one.

During the Duel

  • @surrender or @sr, to forfeit the duel immediately.
  • @timerduel or @td, to check how much time is left in the current duel.
  • Dying doesn't end the duel, you respawn normally (returning to your last save point, or being resurrected by someone else) and can continue fighting.
  • Changing maps doesn't end the duel either, it stays active until the time limit runs out. You just won't be able to fight while you're on a different map than the one the duel started on.
  • Teleport and Warp Portal can't be used while a duel is active.
  • Fly Wing, Butterfly Wing, and Yggdrasil Leaf also can't be used while a duel is active.
  • If the Party Leader leaves the party mid-duel, that party automatically surrenders.
  • Nearby players can spectate an ongoing duel from up to 6 cells away.

Winning the Duel

If neither party surrenders or agrees to a draw before the Duel Duration runs out, the party with the highest kill count wins.

Draw Proposition

Either party can propose ending the duel in a draw using @draw or @dr. The other party must also use the command within 15 seconds to accept the offer, otherwise it expires.

Setting Duration
Draw Proposition Duration 15 seconds
Draw Cooldown 60 seconds

After a draw offer expires, the same party must wait 60 seconds before proposing another one.

Opting Out of Invitations

Use @nopartyduel or @nd to turn off Party Duel invitations, so other parties can't challenge yours.
