Fame Decay

Summary: Fame Decay is a monthly rank maintenance system that reduces Fame Points at the beginning of each month. The system supports up to 20 ranks, with each rank providing different bonuses based on the player's Fame ranking.

How Fame Decay Works

The Fame Decay process follows a monthly cycle:

1. Players earn Fame Points through activities that contribute to the Fame ranking.
2. Fame Points determine the player's current Fame rank.
3. On the first day of each month, Fame Decay is applied.
4. The player's Fame Points are reduced by 2%.
5. If the 2% reduction is less than 1 point, the reduction becomes 1 point.
6. Players with 0 Fame Points are not affected.
7. The player's rank may change if the remaining Fame Points no longer meet the requirement for the previous rank.

How to Earn Fame Points

Fame Points are earned through class-specific activities. Blacksmiths earn Fame Points through weapon forging and upgrading, while Alchemists earn Fame Points through successful potion creation.

Blacksmith Activity

Blacksmith Fame Points are earned through specific forging and weapon upgrading achievements. Different achievements provide different amounts of Fame Points.

Blacksmith ranks can be checked using the /blacksmith command.

Weapons forged by a Blacksmith who is ranked in the Top 5 receive a +60 Damage bonus. This bonus applies to the weapon created by the ranked Blacksmith.

Alchemy Activity

Alchemist Fame Points are earned by successfully creating Condensed Potions in a row without failure.

Alchemist ranks can be checked using the /alchemist command.

Potions created by an Alchemist who is ranked in the Top 5 receive a +50% bonus to their potency. This bonus does not apply to potions used through Aid Potion or Aid Condensed Potion.

Fame Points earned from these activities are accumulated and used to determine the player's position in the Fame ranking.
