Info

Status ailment immunities and resistances are nullified when the source of the ailment is 10 or more levels higher than the target.

Bleeding

Causes a steady loss of HP over time that can, unlike Poison, kill the afflicted character. Natural HP and SP regeneration are disabled while active, and the effect persists even after relogging or changing maps.

  • Recovery: Dying cancels the ailment. No items are known to cure it directly, but the Novice skill Compress remove the effect.
  • Resistance: Higher AGI reduces the chance of being inflicted and may shorten the duration.

Blind

Also known as Darkness. Reduces HIT and FLEE by 25% and visually darkens the screen, reducing sight range.

  • Recovery: Green Potion, Panacea, and the Priest skill Cure remove the effect.
  • Resistance: VIT and LUK reduce both the chance of infliction and its duration.

Chaos

Also known as Confusion. Causes the character to move in unintended directions when trying to navigate.

  • Recovery: Green Potion, Panacea, and Acolyte's Cure remove the effect.
  • Resistance: INT reduces the chance of infliction.

Coma

Instantly reduces the target's HP to 1 and SP to 0.

  • Recovery: Healing skills and items restore HP and SP as normal once the ailment ends.
  • Resistance: High FLEE allows the inflicting attack to be dodged entirely. Higher LUK reduces the chance of being afflicted, but increases the chance of inflicting it on others.

Curse

Reduces ATK by 25%, sets LUK to 0, and drastically reduces Movement Speed.

  • Recovery: Panacea, Holy Water, and the Acolyte skill Blessing remove the effect.
  • Resistance: LUK reduces the chance of being cursed, VIT reduces its duration.

Frozen

Immobilizes the target completely, they cannot move, attack, use skills, sit, or use items. Item-based DEF is halved, and the target's element temporarily shifts to Water.

  • Recovery: Getting hit by any damaging attack automatically breaks the effect. The Priest skill Status Recovery also cures it.
  • Resistance: Hard MDEF reduces the chance of infliction, LUK reduces the duration.

Hallucination

Also known as Illusion. Flips the player's screen upside down.

  • Recovery: Green Potion, Panacea, and Royal Jelly remove the effect.

Poison

Reduces status-based DEF by 25%, drains HP steadily once above 25% HP, and disables SP regeneration.

  • Recovery: Green Herb, Green Potion, Panacea, and the Novice skill Detoxify remove the effect.
  • Resistance: VIT and LUK reduce both the duration and the chance of being poisoned.

Silence

Prevents the use of any active skills.

  • Recovery: Green Potion, Panacea, Royal Jelly, and the Priest skill Lex Divina remove the effect.
  • Resistance: INT reduces both the chance of infliction and its duration.

Sleep

Immobilizes the target completely. Attacks against a sleeping target always hit, and Critical chance against them is doubled.

  • Recovery: Taking any damage automatically wakes the target. No cure items are known.
  • Resistance: INT and LUK reduce the duration. AGI reduces the chance of being inflicted.

Stone Curse

A two-stage ailment. While "hardening," the character can still move and is not immobilized. Once hardened, the character cannot move, attack, or act, and being attacked will break the curse. HP drains slowly above 25% HP, and the target's element shifts to Earth.

  • Recovery: Any damaging hit breaks a hardened Stone Curse. The Priest skill Status Recovery also cures it.
  • Resistance: Hard MDEF reduces the chance of infliction, LUK reduces the duration.

Stun

Immobilizes the target and negates all FLEE.

  • Recovery: The Priest skill Status Recovery removes the effect.
  • Resistance: VIT reduces both the chance of infliction and its duration. LUK provides a small additional reduction.

Burning

Also known as Ignition. Deals fixed damage every few seconds that ignores damage reduction, and reduces MDEF by 25%.

  • Recovery: No standard recovery items, the ailment must run its course.
  • Resistance: AGI and LUK reduce the duration.
