Healing Items
Healing Items
Summary: Healing Items restore HP, SP, or both, and most can be bought from NPCs while others only drop from monsters.
Types of Healing Items
- HP Restoration Items restore Hit Points. Most food and potion type items fall into this category.
- SP Restoration Items restore Spell Points, generally used by classes that rely on skills with an SP cost.
- Some items, such as certain potions, restore both HP and SP at once.
Double clicking a healing item in your inventory consumes it immediately, but most players bind healing items to hotkeys for faster use during combat.
How Healing Amount Is Calculated
Every healing item has a Min and Max healing value, and the actual amount restored is randomized within that range, then boosted by your stats.
HP Restoration formula:
Total HP Healed = Base Healing Value + (Base Healing Value × VIT × 0.02)
SP Restoration formula:
Total SP Healed = Base Healing Value + (Base Healing Value × INT × 0.01)
In both cases, the result is rounded down. Certain skills (such as Increase HP Recovery or Potion Research, if present on Comodo Party) can further increase these totals on top of the stat bonus.
Using Potions on Others
Some support classes have access to a skill that lets them throw healing potions onto party members instead of only themselves. This typically only works with the standard Red, Orange, Yellow, White, and Blue potion line, not with food items or other consumables.
Notes
- Not every healing item can be bought from an NPC. Some are monster-drop only, and a few rare ones can restore very large amounts of HP or SP at once.
- Weight matters when stocking up. Bulkier healing items (like meats or high-tier potions) can eat into your carry capacity fast, so balance healing power against how much you can actually carry.
