Overview
Blacksmiths are powerful melee fighters who combine exceptional craftsmanship with devastating combat abilities. They are masters of forging weapons, refining equipment, and providing valuable support through unique buffs that increase the effectiveness of themselves and their allies. Armed with axes, maces, and carts, Blacksmiths can deal impressive single-target damage while remaining a reliable frontline presence in battle.
Outside of combat, Blacksmiths play an important role in the economy by refining equipment and crafting weapons for other adventurers. Their ability to enhance weapons with elemental properties and improve their party's offensive capabilities makes them a valuable addition to any group. Although many of their strongest skills require Zeny or other resources to use effectively, a well-prepared Blacksmith is capable of delivering consistent damage and utility throughout every stage of the game. Blacksmiths are a great choice for players who enjoy both powerful melee combat and crafting equipment.
After reaching Base Level 99 and Job Level 50, Blacksmiths can transcend and begin a new journey through a stronger High-class path. By advancing through the transcendent route and reaching Second Class once again, they can evolve into Mastersmith.
