Adoption
Adoption
Summary: Married couples can adopt another player as their child, turning that character into a Baby Class with unique family skills, at the cost of some of the usual character growth options.
Requirements
- The couple must already be married, with both Wedding Rings equipped.
- Both parents need to be Base Level 70 or higher.
- The character being adopted has to be a Novice or First Class.
- Each couple gets one adoption, no more than one child per pair.
Adopting a Child
- Bring the character you want to adopt into a party alongside both parents.
- Either parent right-clicks the character and picks the adopt option.
- The character being adopted gets a prompt and has to accept it for the adoption to go through.
Once accepted, that character switches over to a Baby Class, complete with a shrunken sprite and its own set of family skills.
Family Skills

| Caster's parents will not lose any Experience points if they die within this skill's duration. Each cast consumes an amount of SP equal to 10% of the caster's MaxSP. | 1 | Supportive | |
| Summon parents to a spot that is adjacent to caster's current location. | 1 | Supportive | |
| Increases parent's stats by 3 on 7x7 cells around yourself. | 1 | Supportive |
Parent Skill:
| Skill | Description | Levels | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parent summons adopted child to a spot adjacent to the parent's current location. | 1 | Supportive |
Baby Class Changes
Playing as a Baby Class trades away some growth options in exchange for its family perks:
- Stat caps sit at 85, lower than what a regular character can reach.
- Blacksmith and Alchemist Babies craft and brew at a 10% lower success rate than usual.
- Rebirth isn't available.
Benefits of Being Adopted
- Since both parents count as being in the same map-wide party as their child, EXP can be shared between the family at any level gap, as long as both parents are Base Level 70 or higher and everyone's on the same map. This makes leveling the child alongside its parents possible at any level difference between them.
- The child becomes Small size.
- Because of that Small size, the Knight skill Pierce only lands a single hit against them, instead of scaling with size like it does on Medium or Large targets.
