Overview
Priests are Acolytes who have completed their spiritual training and dedicated themselves to serving both the Church and those in need. While Monks rely on physical discipline to fight evil, Priests draw upon divine power to heal the wounded, protect their allies, and drive back the forces of darkness.
Their sacred abilities allow them to resurrect fallen companions, bless weapons, and shield their party from danger. Through Offertorium, Priests can strengthen their healing magic, making spells like Heal and Sanctuary even more effective when their allies need them most. When facing the Undead and demons, they can cast Exorcismus, calling down holy judgment to cleanse these corrupted foes.
Although Priests are rarely found on the front lines, they remain the heart of every adventuring party. Supporting others requires sharp awareness, quick decisions, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities at once.
After reaching Base Level 99 and Job Level 50, Priests can transcend and begin a new journey through a stronger High-class path. By advancing through the transcendent route and reaching Second Class once again, they can evolve into High Priest.
Job Changing
-
Speak with High Bishop inside the Prontera Church to begin the Priest Job Change Quest. He will instruct you to revisit the three Ascetics from the Acolyte Job Change Quest, although this requirement is skipped if you are a Job Level 50 Acolyte.
Ascetic Locations
They have to be visited in sequence. Otherwise, they will refuse your visit.

After reporting back to Bishop Paul , you will be allowed into the examination room where the Exorcism and Temptation tests take place. Once inside, wait for one minute before speaking with Peter S. Alberto This waiting period is an intended part of the quest and not a bug.
Tip
A Priest may assist you during these two tests by following the same procedure and carrying a Rosary in their inventory. The Rosary must be in their inventory and not equipped.
-
In the next few rooms, defeat all Zombies that appear. Every Zombie in each room must be eliminated to complete the Exorcism test and proceed to the Temptation stage. Support-focused Acolytes can use Heal to deal damage to the Zombies and clear the trial more easily.
-
Successfully complete the Temptation test by speaking with Deviruchi, Doppelganger, Dark Lord, and Baphomet in sequence. Each NPC will attempt to sway your decision through promises of wealth, power, or an easier life. Refuse every offer and remain committed to becoming a Priest.
-
After the Temptation test, you will pass through another series of rooms filled with Zombies and Mummies. Defeating them is unnecessary, as you only need to make your way through the rooms to continue.
-
After leaving the final room, you will be warped back to Bishop Paul, who will direct you to Sister Cecelia on the opposite side of the room. Speak with her and answer the questionnaire correctly to complete the final test.
